Butterscotch Biscuits …

Serves: 30 – 32
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 ½ tablespoons golden syrup
- 2.5 cups self-raising flour
- Preheat oven to 180C and line 3 biscuit trays with baking paper.
- Using an electric mixer, beat butter, brown sugar and golden syrup until light and fluffy.
- Remove bowl from mixer, add self-raising flour and mix with a large spoon until combined.
- Roll heaped tablespoons of mixture into small balls, place on the prepared baking trays and flatten each ball slightly with a fork.
- Bake in the oven for approximately 13 – 14 minutes.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool on the baking trays for approximately 5 minutes. Transfer biscuits to a wire rack and allow to cool completely
- This recipe will make approximately 30 – 32 biscuits.
