Preheat oven to 160C, spray two small loaf pans very lightly with cooking spray and line with baking paper.
In a mixing bowl, add flour and brown sugar and use a whisk to combine and break down any lumps.
In a separate bowl combine the milk, eggs, vanilla extract and butter and mix to combine.
Add wet ingredients to flour mixture, along with the pears and ¾ of the walnuts and mix until just combined.
Distribute mixture evenly between prepared pans and sprinkle the top of each loaf with the remaining chopped walnuts. Bake for approximately 30 – 35 minutes. Once cooked, remove from oven, lift loaves from pans, remove baking paper and transfer to a wire rack to cool. Slice and enjoy!
