Preheat oven to 180C and line biscuit trays with baking paper.
In a large bowl cream butter and brown sugar together with a wooden spoon for approximately 2 minutes.
Add the Nutella and mix until well combined.
Add eggs and vanilla and beat until well combined.
Add plain flour, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips and mix until combined.
Roll 1 tablespoon of mixture into a roughly-shaped ball, place on prepared biscuit trays and flatten with your fingers. Repeat, placing cookies approximately 5cm apart.
Bake for approximately 8 – 9 minutes. Once cooked, remove from oven and allow to rest on the tray for approximately 5 minutes before moving cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
