Combine beef mince, grated onion, egg, 1 clove crushed garlic, breadcrumbs and parsley In a bowl and, using your hands mix well. Roll into approximately 32 balls (roughly the size of a golf ball). Set aside.
In a large fry pan, add the oil, onion and remaining 3 cloves of crushed garlic and lightly fry for 2 – 3 minutes.
Add ginger, garam masala, cumin, turmeric, tomatoes and meatballs and bring to a gentle simmer. Simmer gently for approximately 5 minutes, turn meatballs and simmer for a further 5 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.
Serve with steamed rice and sprinkle with fresh coriander leaves.
