3 tablespoons raw cacao (or substitute cocoa powder)
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 ½ cups brown sugar
125g butter, melted and cooled slightly
2 eggs
1 ½ cups light milk
1 cup Toblerone chocolate, chopped roughly (equivalent to approximately 3 x 50g Toblerone Chocolate Bars)
Extra Toblerone, chopped roughly to scatter on tops of muffins (equivalent to approximately 1 – 2 x 50g Toblerone Chocolate Bars)

Preheat oven to 140C (fan forced).
Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and brown sugar in a bowl and combine well.
Lightly whisk eggs in jug then mix in butter and milk.
Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients and add chopped chocolate. Fold in gently until just combined. Mixture will be chunky because of the chocolate chunks – be careful not to overmix.
Place cupcake wrappers in holes of muffin pan. Distribute batter equally into the cases filling each one to approximately ⅔ full. Bake in oven for approximately 29 minutes (depending on your oven). Remove halfway through cooking time to scatter tops of muffins with the extra chopped Toblerone pieces. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before placing on a wire rack to cool completely.
