Combine sauce ingredients and simmer for approximately 20 – 30 minutes.
Combine all meatball ingredients (using your hands will ensure everything is well mixed) and roll into 20 – 25 balls (depending on how large you roll them).
Heat a small amount of olive oil in a pan and brown the meatballs in batches.
Once all the meatballs have been browned put them in the sauce and allow to simmer and cook through for approximately 20 minutes.
Serve with spaghetti, which has been cooked according to instructions on the packet, sprinkle with grated cheese and garnish with fresh basil.
