Indonesian Pork and Vegetable Stir-Fry 001

This Indonesian Pork and Vegetable Stir-Fry is a quick and easy meal the whole family is sure to love because it’s sooooo delicious! I usually save this recipe for those nights when I’m really pushed for time and need to get dinner on the table pronto! Enjoy!


Indonesian Pork and Vegetable Stir-Fry …
 
Ingredients …
  • 2 tablespoons kecap manis
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sambal oelek
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 large red chilli, finely sliced with seeds removed
  • 500g pork mince
  • ½ cup green beans, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup snow peas, thinly sliced
  • 1 small yellow capsicum, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 3 shallots, finely chopped
  • 1 x pkt Chang’s Crunchy Noodles
Method …
  1. In a jug, combine kecap manis, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sambal oelek and brown sugar and stir until sugar dissolves. Set aside.
  2. Heat one tablespoon oil in a wok or non-stick pan, add garlic and chilli and stir-fry for approximately 2 minutes.
  3. Add pork mince to wok and cook for approximately 5 minutes.
  4. Add sauce mix, green beans, snow peas and capsicum and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  5. Stir through shallots and serve with jasmine rice and Chang’s Crunchy Noodles.

  • Kecap Manis is a sweet soy sauce that is very dark with a thick consistency. It can be found in the Asian food section of most supermarkets.
