10 Facts Every Woman Should Know ...

Everywhere you look, every day, we’re surrounded by “perfect” images of women on social media, billboards, TV, magazines and in the general press, so it’s no wonder that many of us can end up feeling less than adequate. I stumbled across this post on Facebook today and it really resonated with me. It’s a healthy dose of perspective to remind us that we need to believe in and love ourselves and that perfection is a myth … we’re only human, faults and all! I thought I’d share it with you … let me know what you think.

  1. Everyone has rolls when they bend over.

  1. When someone tells you that you’re beautiful, believe them. They aren’t lying.

  1. Sometimes we all wake up with breath that could kill a goat.

  1. For every woman unhappy with her stretch marks is another woman who wishes she had them.

  1. You should definitely have more confidence. And if you saw yourself the way others see you, you would.

  1. Don’t look for a man to save you. Be able to save yourself.

  1. It’s okay to not love every part of your body … but you should.

  1. We all have that one friend who seems to have it all together … that woman with the seemingly perfect life. Well, you might be that woman to someone else.

  1. You should be a priority. Not an option, a last resort or a backup plan.

  1. You’re a woman. That alone makes you pretty damn remarkable.

  1. Great advice. I think woman are very critical of themselves but sadly, also of others. It does seem to be a very competitive world and it’s not helpful that magazines and other outlets feature women who have been surgically augmented and then photoshopped on top of that xx
