Well, if you love honey as much as Winnie the Pooh, you’re going to love these little muffins. These are quite dense but so sweet and delicious. Enjoy!
Honey Muffins …

Ingredients …
- 2 ¼ cups plain flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- ⅔ cup honey
Method …
- Preheat oven to 180C (fan-forced).
- Lightly grease a 12 hole muffin tray or line with cup cake wrappers.
- Combine plain flour, sugar and baking powder in a large bowl and stir to combine.
- In a smaller bowl, combine the egg, milk, butter and honey and stir to combine. It might take a little bit of stirring to get the honey to fully blend with the other wet ingredients.
- Add wet mixture to dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Spread mixture evenly between the 12 muffin holes and bake for approximately 17 – 18 minutes or until a wooden skewer inserted into the middle comes out cleanly.
- Transfer muffins to a wire rack to cook completely. These muffins are suitable to freeze.
